2024 Titleholders

Hi everyone! My name is Lola Fischer and I am extremely grateful and excited to be your 2024 Miss San Antonio’s Teen! Being a proud older and younger sister to the most amazing, adopted siblings is exactly why I chose my Community Service Initiative, Love For All, which highlights the need for raising the awareness of adoption and all the beneficial impacts that adoption leaves. While family may arguably be the most valuable thing in my life, my heart can be found on the dance floor.

I am a current line member of a varsity dance team and a 3-year member of Golden Pride Spirit. Being on a team full of amazing teammates with an incredible coach who support and push me every day, I am granted the privilege to be the authentic and best version of myself. Surrounding myself with the most supportive family members and friends is a key impact in my life and I couldn’t be more grateful to have them all throughout this journey.

This upcoming school year I will be a Junior in High School where I will continue my high school education in hopes of later becoming a marine biologist! I am honored and truly blessed for this incredible opportunity, and I cannot wait for what this year brings as your Miss San Antonio Teen!

Katya is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with a double minor in Arts Management & Administration and Media & Entertainment Industries. After she graduates, she plans to take a few years off of school to be a high school theater director and focus on philanthropy. She hopes to eventually go to graduate school and then law school, aiming to become a professor of entertainment law later into her career.

Katya is very active in student organizations around her university. She is the President and Gryffindor House Captain of Longhorn Quidditch, home of the five-time national champion team, Texas Quidditch. Katya is also the Secretary of Minority Women Pursuing Law, one of the biggest pre-law student organizations in the state.

Katya’s service initiative, Hearts for Art, aims to advocate for arts education around the state of Texas, especially in title 1 schools like the schools she grew up attending.  As the child of educators, she has worked diligently with education professionals to create TEKS aligned school programs for students ages 5-18 to promote arts education, destigmatize what it means to be an artist, and teach students and teachers how to use creativity as a safe emotional outlet. Katya also works to create free resources to give to each classroom she visits so teachers can help integrate creativity into their everyday curriculum.

As a professional actor in Central Texas, Katya has been a part of numerous plays, stage readings, student films, and musicals. Some of her most recent work has been theater for youth, including a staged reading for the musical Keys produced by the Magik Theatre in San Antonio and the title role in Smartest Girl in The World through the University of Texas at Austin, where she was able to tour schools around the Austin area. She is currently pursuing professional voice over work in the animation industry.

In her free time, Katya is an avid movie watcher, Formula 1 enthusiast, and baseball fan. Katya is well known by her friends and family as a Disney enthusiast and is very proud of her Disney Princess impressions. She also enjoys exploring Central Texas with her friends and beloved dog, Elliot.
